Environmental Assessment for Construction, Operation, and Maintenance of a Multi-Purpose Range Complex (MPRC) at Fort Irwin, CA.

An Environmental Assessment (EA) has been prepared for the construction, operation, and maintenance of a Multi-Purpose Range Complex (MPRC) at Fort Irwin, California.  Fort Irwin lacks a Multipurpose Range Complex (MPRC) that meets current U.S. Army (Army) standards and requirements. The lack of a compliant MPRC at Fort Irwin, with associated training infrastructure, limits the scope of realistic live fire qualification training that can be conducted at the installation.

The Environmental Assessment will be available for public review and comment beginning 8 November 2017. Electronic transmission of comments must be received by 8 December 2017 and comments sent by U.S. Mail must be postmarked by 8 December 2017. Copies of the EA are available at;
