Fort Irwin Army Equal Opportunity

The Fort Irwin EO/EEO offices, and 1916th Support Battalion, 916th support Brigade Cordially invites the Fort Irwin community to participate in the 2018 Hispanic Heritage Month observance on Wednesday, 19 September from 1130-1300 at Sandy Basin Community Center.  The event theme “One Endless Voice to Enhance our Traditions." Featuring guest speaker U.S. Congressional Representative Pete Aguilar, California’s 31st Congressional District, Performances by the Mariachi Malibu band, and food sampling showcased by the 916th cooks. If anyone is interested in participating, volunteering to help the culinary team of the 916th, or to help in other ways please contact SFC Conklin at the Fort Irwin EO/EEO Offices at 380 4963/7339.

EO Mission (ARMY)

The Equal Opportunity (EO) program and policy formulates, directs, and sustains a comprehensive effort to maximize human potential and to ensure fair treatment for all persons based solely on merit, fitness, and capability in support of readiness.
