CSM Nickia P. Haynes

CSM Nickia P. Haynes was born in Kaiserslautern, Germany, and has lived in various places around the world.  He enlisted in the Army from Honolulu, HI on 26 June 1993.  He attended Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Advanced Individual Training as a Unit Supply Specialist at Fort Lee, Virginia.

                His past assignments include 1-507th ABN and OCS, Fort Benning, Georgia; 728 MP Bn, Camp Walker, Korea, 4th Psychological Operations Group and USASOC, Fort Bragg, NC; 5th QM Det (ABN), Kaiserslautern, Germany; 1-28 INF, Fort Jackson, SC;  Joint Readiness Training Center (Ops Group) and D FSC, 3-89 CAV, Fort Polk, LA; 196th INF BDE, Fort Shafter, Hawaii; Logistic Noncommissioned Officers Academy (LNCOA), Fort Lee VA; 82nd BSB, Fort Bragg NC. He served in various leadership positions from Squad Leader, First Sergeant, Assistant Commandant of the LNCOA, to Command Sergeant Major, 82nd BSB, Fort Bragg, NC. 

                His military education includes the Joint Logistics Course, Individual Terrorism Awareness Course (INTAC), Air Load Planners Course, Air Assault School, Pathfinder School, Jumpmaster School, Drill Sergeant School, Basic and Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Courses, First Sergeants course, Sustainment Pre-Command Course, Battalion Pre-Command Course, and the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy Class No. 64. 

                His awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Army Superior Unit Award, Combat Action Badge, Air Assault Badge, Pathfinder Badge, Master Parachutist Badge, the French Master Parachutist Badge, and the German, Italian, and Canadian Parachutist Badge. CSM Haynes is the recipient of the Order of the Spurs and the prestigious Distinguished Order of Saint Martin.
