If your pet is having an emergency please do not hesitate to call the Fort Irwin Veterinary Emergency Service.  The process is as follows:

Call the in case of animal medical emergency, after hours duty phone:  (760) 362-3185

The ER will then page the Vet Tech on call. The Vet Tech will call you and speak with you regarding the situation. If your animal requires the treatment of a Veterinarian, the vet tech will have the veterinarian call you to discuss options and/ or meet you for treatment. In the event that the post veterinarian in unavailable, emergency care may be sought off-post. If it is necessary that care be provided off post, follow-up care can be provided back at the VTF as the case dictates.
