LTC Jeff Bramlett
LTC Jeff Bramlett was commissioned as an Infantry Officer from the University of Wisconsin in 1995. From 1995-1999 he served in 1st Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment as a Rifle Platoon leader, Company XO, and Battalion S-3 Air. From 200-2004, LTC Bramlett was assigned to 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division as the Brigade Plans Officer. He subsequently commanded both C Company and HHC of 1st Squadron, 9th Cavalry. From 2005 to 2007, LTC Bramlett served as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the United States Military Academy and as a research fellow at the Combating Terrorism Center. Upon completion of Intermediate Level Education at Ft. Leavenworth, LTC Bramlett served in 3rd Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division as a BN XO, Brigade S3, and Brigade XO. His most recent assignment was as the Chief of Plans and Operations for Operations Group at Ft. Irwin.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters degree in International Relations. He is also a graduate of the Infantry Officer Basic Course, Infantry Captain’s Career Course, and the Command General Staff College.
LTC Bramlett’s decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal (1 OLC), the Joint Service Commendation Medal, the Army Commendation Medal (1 OLC), the Army Achievement Medal (5 OLC), the Combat Infantryman’s Badge, and the Master Parachutist’s Badge. He was also awarded term membership in the Council on Foreign Relations.
He is married to Ms. Ame Esterline.
