CSM William (Will) Elliott

CSM William (Will) Elliott was born in San Bernardino, California. He entered the Service August 1987 and attended Basic Training at Fort Knox, KY and AIT at Fort Rucker, AL with the MOS of 67V Observation Scout Helicopter Repairman.
His stateside assignments include: January 1988, assigned to Fort Bragg, NC to the 18th Aviation Brigade, serving as an OH-58A+ crew chief. Reassigned, January 1989 thru May 1998, to the 1/82nd Aviation Regiment, 82nd ABN DIV, serving in positions that include Crew Chief, Maintenance Supervisor, Quality Control Technical Inspector and Platoon Sergeant. From June 1999 to October 2004 assigned to 1/82nd AVN REGT, serving as Platoon Sergeant, Production Control NCO and First Sergeant. In June 2006 to October 2011, reassigned to CAB, 1ID serving as a First Sergeant, BDE and BN Operations NCO, and Support Operations Sergeant Major.
Overseas assignments include: 1998 to 1999 assigned to C Co 52nd Aviation Regiment, Camp Humphreys, Korea; serving as Floor Supervisor and Platoon Sergeant and also in 2004 assigned to 2-501st GSAB, Fliegerhorst, Germany, serving as First Sergeant
Combat Tours: Operation Just Cause, Panama; Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm; Initial Combat Operations (OIF), OIF -1, OIF 10-11 and OND
CSM Elliott’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star (2), MSM (3), ARCOM (4), AAM (7), NCODP(4), Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, SWA Service Ribbon, NDSM, Kuwaiti Liberation Medal Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, Korea Service Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon (4), Iraq Campaign Medal, GWOT Expeditionary Medal, Master Parachutists Badge, Master Aviation Badge, Combat Action Badge, Driver’s Badge
Other Commendations: Member of the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club and a member of the Order of Saint Michael (Bronze).
His military education includes Basic Training, AIT, PLDC (WLC), BNCOC, ANCOC, First Sergeants Course, Sergeant’s Major Course; CSM Pre Command Course;Basic Airborne, Advanced Airborne, Master Jumpmaster, DZSO, DZST, Unit Retention, and Ground Safety Course.
His civilian education includes High School Graduate, AAS in Administration and, Excelsior College; pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with Trident University.
CSM Elliott is married to the former Tina M. LaMonica, of Long Beach, CA. CSM Elliott and Tina, have five children: Cory, Zach, Alex, Jake and Noah.
