Command Sergeant Major Nicol R. Williams was born in Panama Republic of Panama, in 1964 and considers Fayetteville, North Carolina his home. He enlisted in the United States Army Reserves on 18 December 1984 and attended Basic Training and Advance Individual Training at Fort Leonardwood, MI and was awarded the Military Occupational Specialty of 91B. In February of 1986 he enlisted in the active Army and attended AIT at Fort Lee, VA as a 92A, and then progressed to 92Y. CSM Williams has been married to his wife Niza for 25 years; they have two sons, Nic Jr. and Troy Williams.
